New edition of R&S’s survey of multinationals (2004-2014)

This is the twentieth edition of R&S’s annual statistical survey of major multinational companies. It covers 401 large enterprises, 327 of which are industrial companies in the manufacturing and energy sectors, 28 are telecommunications businesses, 25 are utilities and 21 are software and web companies operating in the web services (internet services and internet retailing) and software production (software products and interactive entertainment software) industries. The software and web companies posted an aggregate turnover of €366bn in 2014; they are smaller in terms of total tangible assets than the other multinational groups covered in the survey but grow quicker, in terms of size, revenues and workforce.
