Mediobanca obtains BTP Specialist status

Mediobanca has been recorded in the List of BTP Specialists instituted by the Italian Ministry for the Economy and Finance with effect from 1 June 2024, meaning the Bank is now accredited as a primary dealer.

Achieving BTP Specialist status is one of the initiatives included in the 2023-26 Strategic Plan “One Brand One Culture", in which one of the main growth drivers for the CIB Division was to enhance capital-light activities.

Achievement of this status will expand Mediobanca’s product offering versus institutional clientèle in the fixed-income space, confirming the Bank's leading role in Markets activities within both the Italian and international panoramas.
