R&S unveils 2018 edition of its annual statistical survey of Financial Aggregates for Italian Companies (2008-17)

The Mediobanca Research Area has today unveiled its annual survey of financial aggregates for the leading Italian industrial and services companies. The data refer to the 2008-17 ten-year period.

The aggregates cover 2,075 Italian companies which represent 50% of the nation’s industrial and manufacturing sales, 37% of turnover in the transport sector, and 41% of sales in retail distribution (weighting based on Istat data).

All Italian firms with a headcount of more than 500 staff plus approximately 20% of the country’s medium-sized enterprises (i.e. 50-499 staff) are included.
