Massimo Bertolini joined Mediobanca in 1989.

He has held roles of increasing responsibility in the course of his career, as Head of Corporate Affairs, Head of Planning, Accounting and Financial Reporting, and as Head of Company Financial Reporting.

Massimo Bertolini has been Secretary to the Board of Directors since May 2010, and Mediobanca Group Chief Governance Officer since September 2017.
