New edition of R&S´s survey of multinationals (1998-2008)

This is the fourteenth edition of R&S´s annual statistical survey of major multinational companies. It covers 368 large enterprises, 324 of which are industrial companies in the manufacturing and energy sectors, 24 are telecommunications businesses and 20 are utilities active on an international scale. Their aggregate turnover in 2007 was EUR 8,600bn, including EUR 7,400bn in manufactured products, EUR 700bn in telecoms and EUR 500bn in public utilities, and their assets totalled EUR 8,900bn. Together they employ 28 million people. In 2007, European-based companies have together realized a consolidated value added equal to 11% of Europe's gross domestic product. www.mbres.it
