The Mediobanca Research Area has presented the 59th edition of its survey of Leading Italian companies.

The survey analyses the financial statements of a total of 2,881 companies for FY 2023, sub-divided on the basis of the sectors in which they operate, as follows: 2,353 industrial and services companies, 30 leasing companies, 35 factoring and consumer credit companies, 365 banks and 98 insurance firms.

The survey also contains a focus on the 13 most dynamic and profitable manufacturing companies forming part of the so-called “fourth capitalism”.
